We’re excited to introduce Picture-in-Picture (PiP) video notifications, allowing you to display videos in a compact, movable window without disrupting the user experience. Users can reposition the PiP window anywhere on the screen, switch to full-screen mode with a single click, pause or play the video, mute or unmute, or simply close it if they’re not interested.

To create a PiP video notification, go to console-mobile.notifyvisitors.com and under the Notifications section, choose either Android or iOS, depending on your requirement. The process is almost the same for both so let’s take Android as an example.

Click the ‘Create New Notification’ button, scroll to the bottom, select ‘PiP Video’, and then click ‘Create from Scratch’ (prebuilt templates will be available soon).

A setup window will appear where you can fill in the basic details such as the notification name, timezone, runtime, video URL (you can host the video on any platform of your choice, but only MP4 format is supported currently), layout mode, and video ratio.

In the Theme section, you can customize your notification with options like background color, text color, repeat settings, and more.

Lastly, with the CTA section you can add up to two custom buttons that will appear at the bottom of the PiP video notification.
With PiP video notifications, you can deliver video content in an engaging, non-intrusive way, enhancing user interaction while keeping the app experience smooth and uninterrupted.
