We have expanded the functionality of campaign labels to make campaign management and performance tracking even more powerful. Previously, labels were limited to just assigning names, but now you can also define an objective, select a custom label color, and assign revenue events to your labels for deeper insights.
- With the new Objective field, you can define the purpose of the label in up to 200 characters. This makes it easier to understand the intention behind each label when you revisit them later, helping you stay organized across campaigns.
- The Label Color option lets you assign a custom color to your label using a simple color picker or by entering your own hex color code. This makes it easy to visually distinguish between different labels at a glance across campaign lists.
- You can now also assign one or more Revenue Events to a label. In the dropdown, you’ll see only your mapped revenue events, and you can further refine them by applying up to five attribute filters if needed.
To create a new campaign label, navigate to Settings > Campaign Control, then open the Campaign Label tab and click on Create New Campaign Label.

Here, you can name your label, define its objective, choose a color, and assign one or more revenue events with optional attribute filters. You can also edit existing labels to add these new details.

Once created, you can assign these labels to a campaign, segment, or journey. Once they’re attached, the labels will show up in the list.
For instance, in the campaign list displayed below, you can quickly see the colored labels associated with each campaign.

You can also click on a label to check its purpose and revenue event.

The same visibility extends to your segment and journey lists as well.
Another major advantage of linking revenue events to labels is the ability to measure revenue while filtering campaign analytics by label. This lets you analyze revenue generated specifically by campaigns grouped under a particular label, providing a much clearer picture of campaign effectiveness in real monetary terms.
This upgrade transforms campaign labels from simple organizational tools into strategic assets for deeper campaign analysis and revenue tracking.
